The School Sports Partnership programme is a national initiative involving every school in the country. The aim of the programme is to encourage all schools to ensure that every pupil within their school is participating in 2 hours of High Quality PE every week. The programme is also working towards a 5 hour offer, encouraging 2 hours of PE within curriculum and 3 hours beyond the school day and within the community.
The Callington SSP comprises of all the primary and secondary schools in the Caradon and North Cornwall areas (with the exception of the Bodmin area).
Due to the geographic nature of our partnership, here at the Callington SSP we are really lucky to be able to access an exciting landscape that gives us brilliant opportunities for a diverse range of sport-based activities. These include mainstream sports, as well as watersports (on lakes and at beaches), outdoor activities (on the moors and tors) and many more!
